Entrepreneurs

attending a required Orientation Seminar, held on the second and fourth
Wednesdays of each month at 4:15 p.m. (For directions to the HTC and parking, click here).
The CEO, along with interested founders, should attend and learn more
about the HTC, its roles in business development and acceleration, and
the client application process. Companies wishing to attend can
register by visiting our events calendar.
After the Orientation Seminar, potential applicants should download, complete, and submit the Client Company Applicationwith the $50 non-refundable application-processing fee (please make
checks payable to Houston Technology Center and mail in with your
application), along with the venture's Executive Summary and Business
Plan.
If you are not familiar
with preparing a Business Plan please consider attending an upcoming
Track 1 HTC University workshop. Workshops are scheduled approximately
once a quarter; dates can be found on the events calendar under HTC
University . For more information on preparing an Executive Summary or
Business Plan, review the Strategic Business Overview Guide or download the sample Business Plan Outline provided under Entrepreneurial Resources.
Once
the CEO has attended the Orientation Seminar and submitted the
necessary paperwork, an HTC Director will contact you. All companies
who apply are provided feedback and guidance in their business plans,
regardless of whether they are accepted to the program or not.
If
you are not a technology entrepreneur you may find upcoming HTC
educational and networking events that are relevant to your business. Please visit our events calendar.
